The annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was recorded for television broadcast on VH1 in the U.S., first airing on March 17, 1999. Eric and D’Angelo performed during the induction of Curtis Mayfield into the Hall of Fame.
Eric has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame three times: as a solo artist in 2000, and as a member of The Yardbirds (1992) and Cream (1993). He also attended the annual ceremonies in 1994 to induct The Band, and in 2005 to induct George “Buddy” Guy.
