Eric received a Lifetime Achievement Award, and Nathan East was honored with the Best Bassist Award.
The International Rock Awards were broadcast on US television to honor top rock musicians. Sometimes called the ‘Elvis Awards’ because the trophy is a statue of Elvis Presley, the show aired on ABC from 1989 to 1991 as a lead-up to the Grammy Awards, but failed to attract enough viewers to continue after 3 ceremonies.
